Since we end up following the foot steps of our colonial masters in everything we do, we might do it well by beautifying our graves before hand or call the maskots for a million views. POWER as we know it is a feel of fluke when you learn how to earn it but can't live it.
A man comes up with his own imaginary thought of knowledge and understanding without going through the roll back effect of his thought before putting it to action.......................this is applicable to the famous viral post in the Nigerian HIP-HOP scene by the proclaimed No 1 entertainment blogsite
NOTJUSTOK titled "
THE TEN (10) MOST GIFTED RAPPERS IN NIGERIA LIST" guess i'm not just o.k with this................
Trip down memory lane, i was at THE BATTLE OF THE YEAR on the 7TH OF SEPTEMBER the faithful day the post went viral and i cant but remember how much MODE9 was fixated with his blackberry definitely savoring the moment as the first on the list...................lol
Its funny how our major RAP artists in the industry react to the list like addicts suffering from brokeness( a million crack sold to them through the list) or the fact that someone can stand up to collate a list of Rappers who have lost there mojo......
Actually i'm not taking side with the list, either am i giving thumbs up to the blogger, but THE INDUSTRY NEEDS A REVOLUTION....
Years ago culprits from a replica of this stunt laid themselve to rest while the whole world was watching, some did call it THE NEW WORLD ORDER, i do call it an act of stupidity and immaturity (
SINZU and
GODWON) dropping bars without punchline "i have to wet my beak on this one" or ICE PRINCE after his massive failure on "
I SWEAR" still had the gut to tweet at
RUKUS a veteran starter claiming the PDP of NEA nomination.................
My questions for all parties involved are ...............................
- why not drop a list of TOP TEN PROMISING RAP ARTIST
- why not write an HITLER speech for the whole HIP-HOP community to read and adjust there ways
- why not post upcoming rap artist songs on your blog to promote there act
- why post a controversial list to achieve the ultimate bloggers goal
QUESTIONS FOR THE A-LIST WINNERS
- why do all Nigerians resent the list you are on
- why do you think you are on the list
- why are you afraid of answering this questions asked
QUESTIONS FOR THE NIGERIAN AUDIENCE
- what's wrong with Hip-Hop in Nigeria
- why now
- why believe in the future
- what's in the future
