Nicki Minaj has been stacking up her features, guesting on singles for Wale, Ciara, Mario, and Busta Rhymes. Now Nelly has called on the in-demand rapper for his new Pharrell-produced single, set to premiere this month.
The St. Louis rapper made the announcement on Twitter. “New NELLY FT @NICKIMINAJ ‘GET LIKE ME’ produce by @Pharrell dropping the 18th,” he wrote.
Nelly’s upcoming album M.O. is due later this year featuring the hit “Hey Porsche,” plus appearances from Nelly Furtado, Trey Songz, T.I., and Wiz Khalifa.
“M.O. the album…!!! SH#T just got real… 2013 the return of that BOY..!!” he told his fans.
Nelly is currently sitting at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 with Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise.” He will perform the song with the country duo on the season finale of “The Voice” on June 18.
