Who is first Nigerian to walk on the Moon? A team of techno professional from the Astronomical Sound Company (A$C) recently organized a project in conjunction with Paparazzee Of Sound (POS) aimed at sending a man on the moon to look for alien new sounds. Guess who was sent on this space shuttle of LOVE? A Nigerian from the South-East named Obiora George Edem popularly known as Pop Legaczy aka POPZY aka Mr Moon Walker.
He is a singer-songwriter, fashion designer, poet and thinker who has always dreamt of going to space. “It is a dream come true,” he said. He was born in Benin City and raised by humble parents who hail from Enugu State. While growing up, he listened to the music of Osadebe, D'Coke, Usher, 2Baba, Psquare and D’banj. Now he loves the music of Drake, Phyno, Runtown, Praiz, Simi, Timi Dakolo and Adekunle Gold.
He calls his genre of music “Highlife Pop” coz it combines Highlife, Afropop and AfroHouse in a fresh way. Pop Legaczy who is the CEO of "Paparazzee Of Sound" record label came through on this new awaited single produced by Dr. Dreamz titled “Moon Walk”. This song promises to rock airwaves all across Africa and Europe.
